Yeah, I’ve been busy recently. Sorry about that. I will try to blog more, I promise! Plus, site renewal is drawing closer, so I better get another pound ready xDD
Anyways, I’ve FINALLY gotten back into drawing and, even better, I’M FINALLY WORKING ON MY MANGA PROJECT AGAIN. Although, it’s more of an Indie Comic project now I figured. It means I can do stuff my own way rather than trying to emulate the Manga style. Which is a helluva lot nicer, let me tell you. Anyway, take a look at this:

Hopefully, more on that to come! I’ve been working on a Word document putting a batch of notes together for the past hour and a bit, so hopefully I don’t get too distracted!! Aside from that, I WILL BLOG MORE.

Oh yeah, I move out in 2 weeks. So expect some photos when that happens. So much has happened recently that I can write about too, I’M JUST SO SLOW~ >___<

This post is regarding my ongoing project ‘Twylite’. As many know, I have long been working on this (3 years now I think!), and once again I’m having a monthly change around with the storyline and characters.

I’m not really ready to reveal much yet, but right now I’m considering changing it from a manga to more of an illustrated novel. Think of it like one of those visual novels that you can find, with sketches inside. But that’s still just an idea for now.

Alongside that, I am curious as to whether or not I should make it a downloadable series or a printed novel that I can sell for a small fee on here. But I’ll come up with something another time.

Next topic: Website redesign. At the current moment it is progressing well, but once again I’m having other ideas about what I’d like to do with it. I hate having too many ideas! Maybe I’ll do a vote or something.

Still, I’m considering all possibilities. I want it to be easily accessible, and the design I’m working on is looking to be very graphic heavy at the time being – something that I know will irritate me a lot. I’ll work on it.

Hopefully, something will actually come out of all this soon though! I want to make some progress soon and actually start some other work rather than website redesigns!!

Well, I’ll leave it their for now. One final note: I have a new logo. That I may actually use. Hopefully it will show up on the redesign. We’ll see!

Anyway, I’ve updated the portfolio page, and added the photography page too it. There’s 2 photos in there at present, so feel free to take a look and leave some feedback if you want to.

You never know, now that the site is actually MAKING some progress, some more content may soon be available.

Another piece of artwork I’ve been working on, hoping to get this scanned, coloured and finished eventually. It’s gone through some progress since this picture was taken, so maybe I should post an update soon. ^____^

Another month flying past… However, I have some content that should be getting posted soon enough. Just depends on when I get the photos taken.

In the mean time however, I’ve been doing some new sketches for Twylite, including helmet designs and slight adjustments to the character previously known as ‘Shunin’ (I’ve decided to try and give him an English name to fit the naming of other characters in the series – there’s a reason for it).

There are some similarities within the series to the Kamen Rider series – I like to think of it as Kamen Rider meets Police Drama. Still, I’m not the best at armour designs so this is all good practice for me.

Hopefully more posts to follow soon, and not in a month’s time!

Some previews of some new artwork I have been working on. The first is a bit of a mystery, but no doubt if I give you the clues of say… a mysterious village, an apprentice and a hidden treasure you may be able to work it out? The other picture is a piece of artwork that, hopefully, you’ll be seeing a bit more of around the site.

In the meantime, I’ve been spening lots of money (£35 to be exact…) on Manga books, and also had a Christmas party at Jodi’s house which was amusing :]. It’s been a good old lead up to Christmas at getIGNITED this year!

A photograph of a sketch I was working on, so that I had a vague idea as to what my character Shunin Gale from Twylite will look like unsuited – just to give something to share with you all. And yes, I finally have my camera – I got a Samsung S760 in the end, and I’m very happy with it!
